Deze indrukwekkende Syrah is eigenlijk een uit de hand gelopen wijnexperiment. Paolo de Marchi, die gespecialiseerd is in sangiovese, besloot in de jaren ’80 wat syrah aan te planten op zijn befaamde Isole e Olena in Chianti.
